Our Mission

SHI Integrative Medical Massage School is a professional, career-oriented school with a 35 year-plus tradition of high quality education. Professional, caring faculty encourage graduates to embrace a strong sense of professional commitment, personal growth, community service and ethics as medically licensed massage therapists.

Our Program

SHI consistently maintains the highest pass rate in Dayton-Cincinnati for massage school graduates who take the State Licensure Exam for the first time. In fact, the SHI pass rate is 100% for the MBLEx test currently in use for Ohio licensure.  SHI offers a diploma program which qualifies graduates to sit for the massage licensing exam (MBLEx). 

The curriculum includes Human Anatomy and Physiology, Systemic Pathology, Structural Pathology, Swedish Massage, Craniosacral Therapy, Myoneural Therapy, Muscle Energy Concepts, Positional Release, Trigger Point Therapy, Myofascial Therapy, TouchPro, Professional Ethics, Hydrotherapy and Thermal Modalities, Business Practices, Ohio Law, and Outreach experiences at a variety of sites.
